What we do with your data

Any processing of your data is carried out according to legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection statement we are going to inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in relation to our website.

We process personal data that we receive from you as part of a business relationship. The following data is also stored for the purpose of contract processing: name, company, address, phone number, email address. The data you provide is required for performing the contract or for pre-contract activities. Without this data, we are not able to conclude a contract with you. No data will be transferred to any third parties. In the case that a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship is saved until the end of the mandatory tax-related retention period.

Data processing is performed pursuant to the legal provisions of Art. 96 sec. 3 of the telecommunication act TKG as well as Art. 6 sec. 1 subsec. a (approval) and / or subsec. b (required for performing a contract) of the GDPR.

Within the itl Group, your data is available to staff members who require the data for fulfilling contractual and legal duties and for safeguarding legitimate interests. In addition to this, your data will be provided to contract data processors (in particular IT and back office service providers, for example for sending out Christmas cards) tasked by us, provided that these require your data for performing their respective tasks. All contract data processors are contractually bound to treat your data confidentially, and to process it for the purpose of providing the service only.

Your data will be saved within the itl Group for the entire duration of the business relationship (from initial contact via processing through to completing a contract) as well as beyond this period, in line with legal retention and documentation duties. These are based on the Austrian Commercial Code UGB, as well as other sources.

Furthermore, the legal limitation periods must be taken into account regarding the duration of storage, these are based, for example, on the Austrian Civil Code (ABGB).

Our website, www.technik.marketing, uses functions of the web analysis service Matomo. Cookies are used to allow for an analysis of the use of the website. Cookies are small test files that are stored on a visitor’s device by a website.

You can prevent this, by setting up your browser to not allow for any cookies to be stored.

Your IP address is captured but it is pseudonymised immediately (by deleting the last 8 bit). Merely a rough localisation is possible as a result.

Our interest in the sense of the GDPR (justified interest) is to improve our services and our online presence. We are committed to protecting our users’ privacy. This is why any user data is pseudonymised.

Regarding your data, you generally have the right to request information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe the processing of your data to be a violation of data protection law or if you feel that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you may file a complaint with the regulatory authority. The relevant authority for Austria is the Data Protection Authority (https://www.dsb.gv.at).
